SMS Submit is a service for sending and receiving SMS with global coverage. An account in the SMS Submit services enables you to integrate SMS services in your own application using easy-to-use interfaces.

Service overview
The basic account enables sending of messages. It is then possible to add options for receiving messages.
Basic account "Send"
Send messages to recipients all over the world. All types of messages can be sent including text, binary, UDH, WAP push and flash messages. Each message is assigned a unique message id which is used to track the message. The sender address can be set to numeric and alphanumeric values.
Optional, incoming messages via "Dedicated numbers"
The customer is assigned one or more dedicated numbers. These numbers are virtual GSM number which can be addressed from any phone in the world. All incoming messages are forwarded to the customer using the protocol of choice.
Optional, incoming messages via "Threaded replies"
This option enables a reply to be mapped to the original message in order to keep track of which message the reply concerns. The reply will be tagged with the original message id along with its own unique id.
Interfaces
The following protocols are support for sending and receiving messages. It is possible to use one protocol for sending and another protocol for receiving messages.

Security
Our technical platform (based on Enterprise Messaging Gateway) includes numerous options for redundancy and availability. All accounts are subject to authentication and can use encrypted connections. Also account access can be limited to specific IP addresses.
